The Position

The selected candidate will provide front-line technical support for applications team and end users, including software testing, software installs/uninstalls, troubleshooting IT related issues, managing software/database migrations, and advising customers on hardware/software configurations and implementation.

Due to the global nature of our customer base, this position will require up to 25% travel (mainly Europe, more rarely USA and Asia) and will involve some scheduled support activities outside of normal office hours, including weekends.  Candidates must possess a passport and be willing/able to travel internationally.

Candidate

Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in both individual and small-team environments. You must be an avid problem solver who can be both methodical and think on your feet at the same time.  You must have fantastic interpersonal skills and outstanding written and verbal communications skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or IT related field
  • Experience with Windows and Windows Networking
  • Experience in previous Technical Support Customer-facing roles

Compensation

Full-time employees are offered very competitive salaries and generous pension contributions.

Location

This is a home-based position.  Must have highspeed broadband.  Location in Cambridge, London, Oxford are desirable, but other locations within 1.5 hours of major international airport will be considered.
