Product Overview

The Indica Labs Object Colocalization FL tool is ideally suited for photoreceptor classification and quantification.  This module can be configured to identify photo-receptors on either one or two channels, each labelled for different markers.  The software classifies, counts, and measures each type of photoreceptor as well as counts those regions with overlapping (co-localized) labels.

In the example above the software identifies the red colored photoreceptors labelled for short wave sensitive opsin 1 protein (OPN1SW) and the green color labels long and middle wavelength sensitive opsins (OPN1LW and OPN1MW).  Regions that are positive on both channels are marked in yellow.

The Object Colocalization FL tool integrates seamlessly into the   HALO™ platform which is compatible with a number of third party systems and   file formats.
