Brightfield Microvessel Quantification

Product Overview

Indica Labs’ Object Colocalization module can be used to count and measure vessels labeled with endothelial cell stains, such as CD31, CD34 and Factor VIII. This tool is ideal for measuring angiogenesis in brain, eye, bone marrow, tumor and other tissue types.

In the example shown above, xenograft sections are probed with anti-CD34 antibodies and DAB. The software identifies the brown-stained vessel walls and connects stained areas within a specified connect distance. Where walls are complete, lumens are identified. The software outputs vessel number, vessel density, vessel area, and lumen area.

The Object Colocalization tool integrates seamlessly into the  HALO™ platform which is compatible with a number of third party systems and  file formats.
