The Indica Labs ISH quantification tool is a multi-purpose spot counting tool which can be used to count CISH, SISH, RNA ISH signals, as well as cellular protein foci such as the gamma-H2AX DNA repair foci shown here.
In the example shown, tumor cells have been stained with hematoxylin (blue) and probed with an antibody to gamma-H2AX (DAB, brown) to identify DNA repair foci in cells after irradiation. The brown puncta and foci are identified and segregated according to stain, intensity and size. The software reports total number of cells, total number of DNA repair foci, size of foci, and number of foci per cell.
The intended use for the ISH quantification software is for research purposes only. The tool integrates seamlessly into the HALO™ platform which is compatible with a number of third party systems and file formats.
