Product Overview

The Amplification & Deletion FISH module reads multi-channel fluorescent images and measures gene amplification and deletion by measuring two probes on a cell by cell basis.  This module is one of several in situ applications for molecular pathology (browse DNA/RNA in situ applications here).

In the example above  the module measures HER2 amplification in breast tumor. For each cell the software reports HER2 & CEP17 copy numbers and the HER2:CEP17 ratio. It also calculates the average copy counts and ratios across all cells within the population.

The Amplification & Deletion FISH module integrates seamlessly into the HALO™ platform which is compatible with a number of third party systems and  file formats.
