Product Overview

The Break-Apart & Fusion FISH module reads multi-channel fluorescent images and quantifies break-apart or fusion events. This module is one of several in situ applications for molecular pathology (browse DNA/RNA in situ applications here).

In the example above,  the module has been used to quantify a fusion FISH assay on lung carcinoma. The algorithm recognizes copy pairs that are overlapping or within the user-specified range to constitute a fused pair. The module reports individual cell profiles including copy counts and fusion counts. It also reports overall averages across all cells in the region of analysis.

The Break-Apart & Fusion FISH module integrates seamlessly into the HALO™ platform which is compatible with a number of third party systems and  file formats.
